Our Story

Maia Farms began with a challenge, creating sustainable, nutrient-rich food for space. When the Canadian Space Agency and NASA launched the Deep Space Food Challenge, we developed a mycelium-based protein system buildt for extreme environments. After rigorous testing, we won, proving our technology can nourish astronauts and transform food on Earth.
